CAROLINE GRIECO, RA, LEED AP
With over 13 years of professional experience in New York and New Jersey, Caroline Maeve Grieco is the principal of MAEVE Architecture LLC. Caroline is currently an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute where she is currently teaching courses focused on design and integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. She has previously taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, New York School of Interior Design, and the New York Institute of Technology.
Caroline started her professional career working for high-end residential architecture firms on the Jersey Shore and post graduate school stayed in the NYC area to gain experience in a range of typologies and scales including hospitality projects at BBG-BBGM and institutional work at Robert AM Stern Architects (RAMSA). She was the project architect on renovations to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York Palace Hotel, Park Avenue financial offices, new residential colleges for Yale University and the new Winn Science Center at St. Mark’s School of Texas. During her tenure at the office of starchitect Bob Stern, she participated in the design and construction of private residences in Malibu, California, Snowmass, Colorado, East Hampton, New York, and the renovation of an apartment at The Dakota in New York City.
In 2016, Caroline founded MAEVE Architecture LLC which has provided design services for clients located in/around Jersey City to the Jersey Shore. Services include the architectural and interior design of private and multi-family residences, the reconstruction of high-rise building amenities, and consulting for the Real Estate Development Department at Bassett furniture on the design and construction of flagship store locations in Las Vegas, Wichita, El Paso and Coral Gables, Florida.
Since 2017, Caroline gained experience in the Hoboken and Jersey City AEC market through project-based work at Devino Architects + Associates that included collaborating with the Historic Preservation Commission, Planning and Zoning Boards on mid-rise multi-family projects and the conversion of a historic piano factory/warehouse to a commercial office for a Jersey City based plumbing supply company, Ideal Supply Co.
Caroline received her Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. Her undergraduate work in Art History and Architectural Studies was completed at Tufts University, where she played Varsity Softball and graduated cum laude.
Caroline is a Registered Architect in New York and New Jersey and LEED Accredited Professional.
