In the midst of a frustrating search due to the current real estate market, this couple found a spacious apartment at a great price, but the original finishes and fixtures from the 70s and overall darkness due to lack of artificial and natural light made it difficult to reimagine the space to be their new home. After an initial onsite consultation, the client's hired MAEVE in collaboration with GI Design Studio to reconfigure the architectural layout of the apartment to maximize natural light and storage. The interiors wish-list included, a large chef's kitchen with island seating and functional, relaxing bathrooms. Give it light, make it bright....and please add a touch of a blue!
